Sisonke Gymnastics offers high-quality instructors for all ages and levels. Our club has on of the highest memberships in Kwa-Zulu Natal and is also the best equipped.
Our building is situated in Lahee Park, Pinetown..

Our Achievements

Luke James

~ National Senior men’s team member – placed 3rd overall at the 2024 African Championships in Morocco with gold medals for his floor and vault final routines and a bronze medal on the horizontal bar.

~ is the L8 vault champion achieved at the National Gymnastics Games, Pretoria, October 2022.

 

Charles Phillips

~ achieved 2 medals at the Trisome Games (down syndrome multi-code games) in Turkey – Gold for his parallel bar final routine and bronze for his horizontal bar routine in the T21 senior men’s division.

1:Affiliation & Cooperation

  • Affiliate to, and co-operate with the Kwa-Zulu Natal Gymnastics Union & Gymnastics South Africa.
  • Ensuring the club operates within national and regional gymnastics structures.

2:Athlete Development & Representation

  • Select and train teams and individuals to represent the club / Province / Country in competitions and displays.
  • Identifying and nurturing talent to compete at higher levels.

3:Community & Social Responsibility

  • Social responsibility & inclusion – actively pursue regional & national guidelines, with funding & local initiatives within the club.
  • Expanding accessibility to gymnastics through funding and inclusion programs.

4:Strategic Partnerships & Support

  • Partnering with the local council, Department of Sport & Recreation, and National Lotteries Distribution Trust Fund.
  • Securing support and collaboration with key stakeholders for the club’s sustainability and growth.
